The wedding photographs will be one of the most important elements of your wedding day on St. John. Capturing your first moments as husband and wife will be a cherished memory to view for the rest of your lives together. An amazing feature to digital photography is that each photograph can be printed as color, black and white, sepia tone, or all three.  It's your choice. Rather than generating stiff and commonplace images so often seen in wedding photography, Ceremonies of St. John wants to personalize your coverage to your individual preference. Instead of working from a script, we like to mix traditional and photojournalistic styles to create the most suitable coverage for your wedding day.

It is our goal for you to look at your wedding album time and time again, not store it in a closet, only to be brought out at anniversaries. Every time you look at your photography, we want you to experience the jitters you felt just before you walked down the aisle, the love you felt when you said your vows, and the thrill of hearing your announcement as Mr. and Mrs. for the first time.

Distinct styles of wedding photography that we like to create for our clients -

Traditional Photography is created when the subjects are posed and aware of the camera. These are formal images of the couple, families and wedding party that could be considered location portraits. These are the core photographs that will be saved for posterity.

Photojournalistic Photography is a completely hands-off approach when events are recorded as they happen in their own time. Nothing is forced to create these images, but rather the scenes and moments are captured at just the right time. These events are true to their nature and are not posed or staged. Since people are unaware of the fact that they are being photographed, their expressions are genuine and honest. These images are a behind-the-scenes glimpse of people in their natural state.

As a client of Ceremonies of St. John, you automatically receive a developed 4" x 6" photograph of each shot. The developed photographs are placed into a proof album. Also you own your negatives and they are presented to you in the form of a CD. You will be able to make as many copies of each photograph that you wish.
